Personal Statement
Growing up a multi-sport athlete I always gravitated towards team sports; soccer, basketball, softball and eventually volleyball. I enjoy being part of something bigger than myself, the process of getting better and I compete with passion! Playing OH1 at Palatine High School, I was honored to be named Mid-Suburban League All-Conference (2x), Cook County All-Area and team MVP. This will be my 5th year with Sky High. On the court I take pride in my work ethic, open mindset and ability to terminate balls OOS. I have been able to maintain a 4.0 unweighted & 4.89 weighted with a rigorous schedule of honors/AP classes and currently sit at a 35 on the ACT. I am seeking a university where I can continue playing volleyball while pursuing a degree in biological sciences.
