Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Zari Thomas and I currently live in Eugene Oregon where I have lived my whole life. I have been passionate about both soccer as well track my whole life. I have done both sports since the age of 4. While I've primarily played center forward most of my life I recently transitioned to playing as an outside back or winger. Where I have learned I prefer the game in front of me. Outside back\winger also helps me fully utilize my speed down the whole sideline. Soccer has always been a huge part of my life. So when I tore my ACL back in February of 2024 it was definitely a scary moment having to work harder than ever to return. Being away from the field that long made me reflect on why I love the game. But the second I stepped back on the field I was immediately reminded.
