Personal Statement
I began my love for volleyball at the age of 12 and have aspired to compete at the collegiate level ever since. I am an agile and adaptable athlete on the court with an advanced skill set that includes playing all-around OH. I aim to be a player that others look up to on and off the court. As co-captain of my teams, I ensure my teammates are confident that they can count on me. The strengthening of my mental game is as important as my physical training. I am maintaining a 3.85/4.00 GPA (4.71 weighted) at one of the top academic public schools in the country and aim to study nursing or biology in college. I developed a love for learning through my 11-year Montessori education, where I began to build a solid foundation of discipline, passion and commitment in all that I do.
