Personal Statement
My name is Sophie Sims, and I play on Hanover Hornets Bozzo 2027. I am a right handed pitcher, and a first baseman. I am a dedicated student athlete with a 4.44 GPA, and committed to excelling both academically and athletically. In this past school season, I earned All-LIS District Team as a freshman, for both my roles as a pitcher and first basemen. In addition to softball, I play JV Volleyball. I am also a competitive Preliminary Champion Irish Dancer, showcasing discipline and commitment to excellence in my pursuits. Balancing rigorous academics and competitive sports has taught me valuable time management and leadership skills. I am working hard and hoping to bring my passion, work ethic, and skillset to a college program that values both academic and athletic achievements.
