Hello, my name is Sophia Cervantes. I’m a 17-year-old Varsity shortstop, centerfielder, and triple-threat slapper, with a home-to-first time of 2.62 seconds. I’m highly competitive and passionate about sports, including basketball and running. As a leader, I serve as Chairman of my school’s Site Council, President of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers Jr., and Outreach Coordinator for the Society of Women Engineers Next. I also enjoy working at Robothink where I teach kids robotics. I plan to major in Mechanical Engineering and aim to become a fighter pilot in the Air Force.
