Sonia Mohan

I am a varsity student/athlete at Westlake High School (Texas-6A). I thrive in high pressure environments, ready to execute. My reputation is as a highly coachable athlete, and a player who always thinks about improvement. When I pitch, I pride myself in movement and spin over speed, creating easy outs in the field. At the plate, I shift my mindset to hit the ball hard. On the field, you will see me make athletic plays, pitch strikeouts, and hit line drives. My competitive softball mindset is an asset in other parts of my life including my focus on excelling in academics and playing the flute. Softball is a gift that has taught me the value of focusing hard to achieve results, grit, determination and how to give a firm handshake.
