Hi Coach, I am Skylar Gapol and I’m class of 2025. I'm a versatile athlete who excels as a catcher and third baseman. Behind the plate, I take pride in my leadership skills, focus on my framing and constantly communicate with my pitcher and teammates. Defensively, I’m strong with a pop time of 1.76, backed with a powerful arm. While at third base, I handle the hot corner with quick reflexes, consistently making crucial plays. Offensively, I adapt to any spot in the lineup. I'm consistent at the plate, with great pitch recognition and a powerful bat. Along with my athletic abilities, I’m also committed to my academics, maintaining a 3.8 GPA. Being a scholar-athlete is important to me, and I will bring the same dedication and discipline to both the field and the classroom.
