Personal Statement
Reflecting on the AAU season, the unique challenges and adversity that this season brought allowed me to continue to grow as a player. I used that experience to go into off season training with a focused mindset. Focused goal of getting stronger, quicker, and more athletic. Thanks to Onyx training, I’ve improved my vertical jump, I’m quicker, & I have put on muscle. In addition to athletic training I spent countless hours in the gym working on my skills. I’ve worked hard and have the confidence to have a great year of high school basketball. I’m excited that my coaches have noticed my hard work and I’m honored to be named one of the captains of my team. “We are what we do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.” I look forward to playing at the college level!
