Personal Statement
My name is Mia Liberti from Chicago, Illinois where I am a senior at De La Salle Institute class of 2024. I have been a club volleyball player for 7 years all with the Chicago Elite organization. This club season at AAU Nationals, my team and I were National Champion Runner-Up going 14-1! In addition to volleyball, I also play high school golf, and currently, I serve as the varsity captain. Academically, I am a two-year member of the National Honors Society and the Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica with a current GPA of 4.6. Recently, I have been named an AAU Academic All-American and have been selected as a part of the GCAC All-Conference Academic Team. I am very passionate about the sport of volleyball with the goal of playing at the collegiate level.
