Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Mia Francoforte and I am currently in the 9th grade of West Orange High School in Winter Garden, Florida. I currently play as a libero for Game Point volleyball club on 15 Premier. Throughout middle school, I have continued to balance grades and academics with athletics. I currently hold a 4.0 GPA while playing both high school and travel club volleyball. I have been playing volleyball for 5 years and have loved it ever since my first 12s season! I hope to study psychology some day and have a special interest in mental coaching for athletes. Besides being a major contributor to my team's defense, I love to cheer on my teammates. I believe having the right energy no matter where you are in the game makes a big difference to the performance of the team.
