Personal Statement
My name is McKenna Chavez, and I am a 2026 recruit. I bat right-handed, throw right-handed, and have played varsity softball for two years at Capital High School. I was honored to be named All-State First Team Infielder both years. Additionally, I made 5A All-SIC Second Team Infielder as a freshman and All-SIC 5A First Team Infielder this past season. I am a utility player specializing in infield, with shortstop as my primary position for both my high school and club teams. In addition to softball, I am a multi-sport athlete and have competed on the varsity Volleyball, Basketball, and Track teams since my freshman year (currently the state champion for shot put). Academically, I hold a 3.8 cumulative GPA and am interested in majoring in Business.
