Personal Statement
My name is Makenzie McCowan, but I go by Kenzie. I am currently a Junior at Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, Texas. I have been playing softball since I was 8 years old, and my dream is to continue to play at the next level in college. I am on the Varsity team at school wearing #14 and play select for Texas Blaze KTX 18U Clark, wearing #5. On the field, I enjoy playing Second Base and Short Stop, as well Outfield. My team mates have described me as a leader on my teams by helping others and keeping accountability not just for myself, but others. Off the field, I enjoy volunteering my time back to our local little league where my softball career began. I also enjoy cooking, playing guitar, traveling to new places and spending quality time with my family and little brother.
