Personal Statement
My name is Lyla-Cate Wimberly, my coaches and teammates call me ‘LC”. I fell in love with softball at 5 years old, and my mom told me a story where I told her in a T-ball game that “I want to do this forever”. God has provided me with talent that I have had to learn how to manage over the years, and I am still learning. My job is to use the talents that He provided me to use as a platform to share my faith with others. I am a well-rounded athlete having played volleyball, basketball, soccer, as well as achieving high accolades in track & field. I plan to continue my track & field career in High School as I continue playing at the highest levels of softball. God is good!
