Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Lena Palus. I attend Lane Technical High School in Chicago, Illinois and I am part of the 2027 graduating class. I have proudly maintained a 4.8 weighted GPA throughout 9th and 10th grade. I have been a DS/libero on varsity since sophomore year, where my team finished 2nd in the city. For club volleyball, I play for Chicago Elite Volleyball in Chicago, Illinois. I play as a DS on Chicago Elite 16 Elite. So far, this season my team took 2nd place in 16 Open at Capitol Hill Classic. Personally, I have been awarded a spot on the 2024 Girls’ JVA Watchlist. Additionally, I have been playing club volleyball as a libero/DS since 7th grade (12 years old).
