Personal Statement
My name is Kyani Kolonaheokekaimalino Morn, I was born and raised in Hawaii. I’ve been playing for over 10 years at short and pitch. My family and I moved out to San Antonio to get better exposure while playing in more competitive tournaments with more competitive players. My hopes are to play college ball just like Lauren Burke, Jocelyn Alo, Ava Brown, and my sister Shalei Morn. Softball is one pathway to help pave the way to get me a college degree, while playing the sport I love! Through softball I learned to be more of a team player by keeping my team’s energy high, yet being independent and responsible for my own actions. I’ve always love the sport because i love being social and being able to have people that I could talk and bond with. Softball teaches me lots of lessons about life.
