Personal Statement
I am the son of a high school coach, and my older brother is a Division 2 scholarship baseball player. I have played high level baseball since the age of 7, and am currently a member of the US Nationals Scout team at Inside Edge Academy in Lee's Summit MO. I play all infield positions except first base. Currently I am ranked in the top 55 players in Missouri by Prep Baseball report, and I am a top 12 catcher. I fully intend to improve those rankings as time goes on. I consider myself a good student--I take a full load of honors courses, and my grades are improving, not getting worse. I want to achieve as highly as I can in baseball. I am truly passionate about the sport. I care as much about my defense as I do my hitting and baserunning.
