Kate Bookidis - Verbal to Trinity

Softball has developed my mental toughness. It’s why I am unshakable in the circle and thrive in big-game moments. It sets me apart, and it's my biggest strength as a pitcher. I’m like this because I’m coachable, willing to change, and desire to grow and play at a level above my comfort zone. I want to pursue a STEM major; math is my favorite subject, and science is a close second. I am most interested in architecture, civil engineering, and physics because they involve my creative brain and math and science skills. I'm seeking an academically rigorous, collaborative college environment with a sense of community. I'm zeroing in on my choices. I’d be thrilled to attend an Ivy League or a mid-sized STEM-focused school where I can further my softball career AND be challenged academically.
