Personal Statement
My name is Karis Tate. I am a hardworking student at Mount de Sales Academy, class of 2026. I am in my junior year of high school and my second season on Maryland United U17 ECNL. Last spring season I broke my ankle and was unable to play for three months. I have fully come back now and aim to grow further in the sport every day. I love to compete and give my best effort in athletics and academics. I highly value relationships with my friends, family, and coaches. I am a fast, focused and composed player. I am most comfortable in the defensive center back or outside back positions but enjoy playing wing when I get the chance. I hope to play at the collegiate level because I take pride in being part of a team and competing at the highest level.
