I understand hard work. My father coached high school and college baseball and has instilled in me the desire to grind each day. I’ve witnessed firsthand that hard work can make a good player great, and a lack of work ethic has the ability to accomplish the exact opposite. The catcher is the field general, usually the biggest dirtbag (in a good way) on the team, and is also able to communicate and bridge the gap between the pitchers and the position players. I rely on my faith and relationship with Jesus to help guide my decisions, desires, and goals. I hate to lose more than I love to win. I will make any coach that recruits me pleased that he did and prove that not only do I belong there, I will excel and make everyone around me better players and teammates.
