Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Jocelyn Cushard, a freshman at Plainfield East High School in Illinois. I'm on the Indiana Magic Gold National Zachary travel team. I also play basketball, making the varsity team as a freshman. I'm a member of National Junior Honor Society and involved in student council and volunteer at various organizations, including Feed My Starving Kids, Cards for Hospitalized Kids, Lasagna Love, and the local library. With all honors and AP classes, I earned all A's in my first semester and have a 4.7 GPA. I ranked 3rd out of 451 kids academically. I train at OGX three times a week, working on strength, conditioning, pitching, and hitting. I learned to pitch from Coaches Nancy Evans and Jill Waldron. I'm interested in studying biology as a potential path to medical school.
