Personal Statement
Call me “Jay” for short. I appear quiet when you first meet me, but don’t let my quietness fool you as I am loud in my ability to play. I have been playing softball since the age of 7. On and off the field, I am a positive, reliable, respectful, and humorous person. Some of my hobbies include running, cooking, baking, and dancing. I also love to run track! My speed enables me to be an asset when I slap or bunt, as well as steal bases to assist my team. While playing in the outfield, I enjoy catching hard hit fly balls. Whenever I'm behind the plate, I focus on getting the runners out and supporting my pitchers. I give thanks to God for my talent and speed. With my continued dedication and hard work I will be on a college softball team one day.
