Personal Statement
My name is Emma Lawrence. I am a Severna Park High School Sophomore, and play on the varsity soccer team. As an attacking player I enjoyed my role and led in goals scored. My HS team went undefeated and won the 3a MD State Championship. On my club team, I play for Maryland United, ECNL 08, for Coach Matt Dwyer at left and center back, and I also wear #12. I love my role as a defender because I match up against the other teams' top attacker. Maryland United plays in ECNL's North Atlantic division. I maintain a 3.8 GPA and am primarily enrolled in Honors and AP classes. My dream is to continue my passion by playing at the college level. I try to be a leader on and off the field and feel I can easily get along well with teammates and coaches.
