Personal Statement
My name is Ella Showers and I am a junior at Coopersville High School. Our Varsity softball team finished the 2024 season with a 28-9 record where I had a .414 batting average with 14 doubles, 3 triples and 6 home runs. I played as the starting and sole catcher, catching 237.1 innings. I really enjoy the daily challenges, my team and am striving to reach the next level. My goal for my Senior year is to continue to put in the work in the classroom and on the field, resulting in a commitment to a university that fits the needs of academic goals and allows me to continue playing the sport I love. When I am not playing softball, I enjoy playing pickleball and snowboarding.
