Personal Statement
I am Ella Scott, a class of 2027 golfer. I started playing competitive golf when I was 12, which was relatively late compared to my competitors. Because I started later than everyone, I had a determination to get better in a shorter amount of time to get to their level and exceed past them. Whether it is academically or athletically, I want to be the best and will go to any measure that I can to achieve that goal, no matter the roadblocks I face. My goal is to play golf at the highest level and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to get there. Off the golf course, I enjoy being a leader to my teammates, other kids and my brother. I volunteer at my church every other Saturday and love being a mentor. I have a 10-year-old brother who I love to play golf with, in addition to my family.
