Personal Statement
My name is Coda Taylor, and I am a sophomore at Pryor High School. I stand 5'8" tall, and I am proud to be a 5A State Champion. I earned the title of 5A-3 Pitcher of the Year and received Honorable Mention in the Tulsa World. Outside of sports, I am an active member of the Native American Club, where I am learning the Cherokee language. Recently, my team and I were honored by the Cherokee Nation for our victory in the State Tournament. Looking ahead, I plan to attend Northeast Tech during my senior year to earn my Child Development Associate (CDA) in Early Childhood. After that, I aim to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
