Personal Statement
My name is Carmen Henderson and here are some things about me! I am a power hitter, fast runner (H-1st: 2.95), and a dedicated outfielder. I attend St. Joseph High School in Lakewood, California. I am 16 years old and currently play on 16u Firecrackers Medina-Gomez. I am the starting right fielder for both my travel and high school team. I am versatile and can play any outfield position. I usually bat in the clean up spot in the line up. I have hit over 20 home runs in the past 2 years. I am also a hard worker in school and hold myself to high expectations. I currently maintain a 4.1 gpa and take honors and AP classes. I know that my work ethic, softball IQ, leadership skills, and overall love for the game would make me a great match for your program.
