Personal Statement
My name is Carlie Perez, and I am part of the graduating class of 2026. I play first base and pitcher on my softball team and have devoted about ten years to the sport, which I love more with each passing day. My journey in softball began with my dad, who has been my greatest supporter. As I look ahead to college, I plan to major in Education. I have always wanted to be a teacher for young children, inspired by the incredible educators from my own childhood. My goal is to spark curiosity in my students and help them discover new ideas they may not have considered. I currently hold a GPA of 3.82 and am enrolled in two Advanced Placement classes: AP Statistics and AP U.S. History. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me!
