Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Callie Lissenden. I attend Bishop O’Connell High School in Arlington, VA and will graduate in 2026. I have played middle infield and outfield for O’Connell’s Varsity team since freshman year and was recognized with honors by the Washington Catholic Athletic Conference as a sophomore. I was also recognized as a Select 30 finalist to play on the American Team in 2023. I have played softball since the age of 6 and have played travel ball for five years, the last three for Virginia Glory. My goal is to play for a competitive and cohesive college softball team at a school where I can pursue a degree in neuroscience or biochemistry. I love fitness, ping pong, reading, and hanging out with friends and my family.
