Personal Statement
Hello, I am Blakely Barber! I’m a nationally ranked right handed pitcher & outfielder. I was awarded All Summer Team at the 16U PGF & 14U Alliance Championship. In Texas District 25-5A I was awarded Pitcher of the Year (2022 & 2024), 1st Team All District (2022-2024), as well as Academic All-District (2022-2024). Received All-Centex honors in 2023. Rouse High School awards: MVP 2022 & 2023, Defensive POTY 2024. Working with elite pitching coach Sarah Pauly since 2022, was previously with Nyree White 2019-2022. My best pitch is my rise, but also very effective with my change up and drop (great movement/spin & velocity of 63-67) . I have over 600 career Ks in my high school career. I’ve also been committed to a training regiment with ROI Sports Performance.
