Personal Statement
Hey there! I’m Benjamin Smet-Cooper, a passionate athlete from Kenosha, WI. Baseball has been part of my life since I was six, shaping me in countless ways. I’ve had incredible experiences, like representing Wisconsin in the Little League World Series on ESPN at 12 and throwing a no-hitter against Nebraska in 2022. Most recently, I played with Team Midwest in the NTIS for Team USA in 2023 and competed with Team Wisconsin at the PBR Junior Futures Game in 2024, where we placed 3rd. When I’m not on the field, you can find me golfing or fishing—there’s nothing quite like the outdoors. I play for Prospect Training Academy and will join Westosha High School under Coach Jacob Morman. Standing at 6' and weighing 193 lbs, I’m a versatile player at 3B and 1B. Excited for the future!
