Avery Cochran

Hello! My name is Avery Cochran, and I am a 2027 graduate. I am a pitcher playing for Cal Thunder LeVier-Evans in Pasadena, California. I am a well-rounded and committed student athlete who wants to study engineering in college. I am involved in my school community and participate in FTC Robotics and Science Olympiad while I also mentor middle school students in our Maker Lab. On the field I am a dedicated pitcher who has a strong softball IQ. I have strong mental toughness on the mound, and my understanding of the game allows me to make a bigger impact on the field. I dedicate my weeknights to improving my strength and mechanics, as I continue to grow in my skills. I am known to keep batters off balance, and my drop curve is quickly becoming one of my favorite pitches.
