Personal Statement
Hello coaches, my name is Ashley James and I currently play for Power Surge Walling/Pearlstein 16u Gold under coach Kevin Pearlstein and manager Steve Walling. I am a junior at Hillcrest High School where I have been a starter on varsity for softball since I was a freshman. We made it to the CIF quarterfinals in my freshman year and made CIF again in my sophomore year. I am an athlete who thrives under pressure as it makes the game even more competitive and fun. Academics play a huge role in my life, and I always strive for the best grades. Currently, in my junior year, I have a 4.66 GPA since I am taking 4 AP classes. I like pushing myself to the limits both on the field and in the classroom so I can achieve ultimate success.
