Aryka Gunsagar

Hi! I’m Aryka Gunsagar (2026) and play for Warrior Academy Ray McDonald, which I recently joined. I play outfield and usually bat at the top of the order as a slapper. My goal for 2025 is to commit to full swings and be able to slap or hit away based on the situation. I have finished my last few seasons with a batting average close to .500. My most valuable asset is my speed, which I carry on offensive and defense, often energizing our team by beating out a ground ball or making a hustle play in the outfield. My home to first speed is <2.7 seconds. My love for the game and leadership skills are also important assets. I sprint to my position, pick up struggling teammates, crack jokes to keep things light during stressful times, and lead cheers, even though I’m not the loudest.
