Personal Statement
My name is Anna Powell and I will graduate high school in 2025 from Sacred Heart Academy in Louisville, Ky. I have been playing club volleyball for the past seven seasons and I am an outside hitter for KIVA 18 Red under head coach Eric Garvey. I am a coachable and dedicated player and have worked hard on my skills to be able to play for the number 1 travel team for my club as well as make my high school varsity team as a freshman. I care more about my team’s success than my personal accomplishments and I am a player with a positive attitude and a fierce work ethic. I am passionate about the game and I work hard to improve my skills each day. My goal is to be part of a college program and have the chance to compete at the highest level.
