Personal Statement
I’m Amelia, most coaches/teammates/parents know me as Mia. I am on Maryland United FC 2009 ECNL, #11 and I play defensive/attacking midfield. I now am a Sophomore attending McDonogh School. This summer I was named to the first team ECNL All-Conference (North Atlantic Conference). My freshman season was at Broadneck High School and there I was awarded “First Team All-County” and "Honorable Mention All-State" and led the team in total points (25pts). A characteristic I have as a player is being a leader within my team, helping communicate and connect with the whole field so that the team can play together. Being in the midfield, leadership is something I know is my responsibility.
