Alexis Honea

I’m a 2026 pitcher/3rd baseman. My freshman year of high school was a pivotal time for me; I faced significant mental health challenges that tested my strength and determination. Through hard work, support, and perseverance, I was able to overcome these obstacles, emerging stronger both mentally and physically. This experience taught me the value of resilience, focus, and the ability to stay composed under pressure—qualities that are crucial on the mound and in high-pressure situations at 3rd base. My journey has not only strengthened my love for the game but has also equipped me with the mental toughness needed to excel at the collegiate level. I’m eager to bring my skills, work ethic, and unique perspective to a college program that values a well-rounded and mentally strong athlete.
