Personal Statement
My name is Addison Smith. I recognize the discipline and dedication required to continue learning and growing academically and athletically. Therefore, I use my time productively, which allows me to do well in school (4.71 GPA) while also devoting much of my time to volleyball. In addition to my academics and love for volleyball, I participate in many other extracurriculars. I always try my best during practices and games and listen to my coach’s feedback. I continue to develop and make improvements based on the feedback from both my coaches and teammates. At home, I progress athletically by advancing my speed and agility along with drills for setting. Although I started volleyball later than some athletes, I’m always driven to be the best I can be and I’d love to be a collegiate athlete.
