Personal Statement
Hi, I'm Abby McGraw. For me, playing softball is a privilege through which I have developed many friendships, athletic abilities, and relevant life skills. This sport has pushed me to and simultaneously given me the tools to develop mental toughness, stay athletic, learn how to problem solve through hard work, and a space to enjoy being competitive. I would love to play as long as I can. I have always adopted the same mindset of dedication at school and on the field. I am an A-honor roll student with a 4.50 GPA. Choosing a school that has a strong and competitive softball program is what I aspire to, but academics are at the forefront of my mind when it comes to picking a college. Outside of softball, I enjoy taking photos, long distance running, volunteering, and throwing shotput/discus.
