Personal Statement
Hello my name is Abbie Mahaffey. I really enjoy playing soccer. I play for Maryland United FC U17 ECNL and at Kent Island High School. I feel comfortable at striker but can also play at wing. I have been the leading scorer on both my Club and High School teams, and I scored 30 goals while breaking the school record for most goals scored in a single season. I’ve earned multiple All Conference and MVP honors, and I received 2024 Maryland All State Honorable Mention accolades from the Maryland Association of Coaches of Soccer. My strengths on the field are my speed, ball control and physicality. In school, I take multiple advanced classes. My goal is to continue my soccer career in college and I look forward to growing both athletically and academically in the future.
